About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in / fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

As a member of the Brucejack family, we put your health, comfort, and safety first. You’ll stay in private rooms with individual washrooms, enjoy balanced meals prepared by our exceptional culinary team, and have access to a 24-hour snack and sandwich bar. We also have plenty of ways for you to relax and stay active, with a gym, fitness classes, a golf simulator, and seasonal activities like snowshoeing and hiking. For creative downtime, our music room is a fully equipped space where you can play or listen to music. Our Brucejack Recreation Committee, run by employees on a volunteer basis, organizes activities and events to make camp life fun and bring people together. The committee also plans holiday decorations, charity raffles, and outdoor events, helping create a warm and friendly community.

Your Impact

As an Assistant Admin at Brucejack Mine, you will provide vital administrative support to Mine Operations. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help maintain smooth operations, accurate reporting, and efficient communication between departments, contributing directly to site safety, productivity, and compliance.

As Part of Our Team, You Will

  • Prepare and support daily operational reports for the underground mine team
  • Coordinate communication between underground operations and the admin team
  • Manage personnel rosters, travel changes, and timekeeping for payroll
  • Schedule and track maintenance activities and monitor inventory levels
  • Submit SAP purchase orders, stock demands, and work notifications
  • Complete month end cost reporting and tracking
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, equipment usage, and project progress
  • Track contractor timesheets, ensuring compliance with contract scope
  • Apply risk mitigation measures and continuously assess for operational risks

Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role

  • 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in mining or industrial settings
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, email, SAP, Pitram, and Power BI
  • Knowledge of operational reporting, inventory management, and safety compliance
  • Experience with contractor timekeeping, procurement processes, and incident reporting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Familiarity with production reporting systems and risk management practices
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across departments
  • Your Work Environment

  • Location : Brucejack Mine (remote camp, fly-in / fly-out)
  • Rotation : 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (or as operationally required)
  • Setting : Onsite office with regular interaction across departments
  • Requirements : Compliance with PPE and health & safety protocols; ability to work in a remote, camp-based environment
  • We are now recruiting for the position of Admin Assistant with a competitive annual salary of CAD 71,000 - CAD 88,740 . The offered base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies, with consideration to internal equity.
