  • Monitor project performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes, delivery efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead constructability, safety, risk, and value engineering reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal, regional, and utility clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the water and wastewater sector.
  • Support proposal development, client presentations, and pursuit strategies.
  • Promote Hatch's integrated planning, engineering, advisory, digital, and project delivery services.
  • Collaborate with regional and global Hatch teams to leverage technical expertise and best practices.
  • Support staff development, recruitment, succession planning, and mentoring initiatives.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering.

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale linear infrastructure projects, including watermains, trunk sewers, force mains, and pumping stations.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing complex capital programs.
  • Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure planning, utility operations, permitting, regulatory requirements, and construction practices.
  • Experience managing project financial performance, contracts, commercial risk, and change management.
  • Demonstrated success developing and maintaining client relationships within the municipal infrastructure sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
