The best part is that you will work with people that care passionately about you, our clients, and our communities.

As a Sr. Data and Reporting Solutions Analyst, you independently support Audit & Certification Services initiatives through scalable analytics and reporting solutions. You leverage deep knowledge of enterprise data sources and platforms to integrate, transform, and operationalize data across the organization. The role focuses on building automated, reliable data pipelines, improving data quality, and reducing manual effort. Using strong business and risk acumen, you translate technical requirements into actionable insights that support audit execution, risk monitoring, and informed decision making.

How you will create impact:

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, R, SAS, VBA, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and enterprise data integration tools to develop scalable data and analytics solutions.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines, workflows, APIs, and data transformation processes to support reporting, auditing, and analytics.
  • Proven ability to extract, reconcile, integrate, and validate data from multiple enterprise systems while ensuring data quality, accuracy, and traceability.
  • Expertise designing and developing dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions using Power BI, Azure Synapse, MicroStrategy, Excel, and related platforms.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, operational systems, and business integration points to deliver governed and reusable data solutions.
  • Demonstrated business and risk acumen with knowledge of internal audit practices, continuous monitoring, and the three lines of defense framework.
  • Ability to translate business and audit requirements into actionable reporting, analytics, and automation solutions that improve efficiency and decision making.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate across teams.
  • This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

How you will succeed:

  • You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.
  • You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
  • You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
  • You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.

To join our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, analytics, automation, or data solution development within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, programming languages and tools, process automation techniques, modelling methodologies, data warehousing, data management, and research practices.
  • Hands on experience with SQL, Python, R, Azure, reporting platforms, and enterprise data integration technologies used to support scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Professional certifications or designations related to data modelling, cloud technologies, coding, analytics, or reporting development are considered an asset.
  • Strong business and functional knowledge with the ability to apply best practices, collaborate across teams, and understand how data solutions support operational objectives, risk mitigation, and business strategy.

What you need to know:

  • You will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
  • Extended work hours, including weekends, may be required during peak periods.
  • You may be required to work on a rotational on-call schedule.
  • This position will operate on a hybrid work posture which will require an in-office presence of at least twice a week.

What’s in it for you?

  • Training and development opportunities to grow your career.
  • Flexible work options and paid time off to support your personal and family needs.
  • A holistic approach to your well-being, with physical and mental health programs and a supportive workplace culture.
  • Paid volunteer days to give back to your community.
  • In addition to our competitive salary and incentive programs, eligible employees also benefit from a comprehensive total rewards package including group retirement savings plans, pension and benefits (, health and wellness, dental, disability and life coverage), mental health support and an employee assistance program.

Expected Salary Range: $72,847 -- $121,411

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics
