Job description

Adecco is currently hiring Power Equipment Operators for full-time opportunities in Bolton, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, counterbalance forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Join one of Canada's leading retailers and play a key role in warehouse operations by moving inventory, supporting shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. Candidates with Clamp Truck and Counterbalance experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Pay rate: up to $20.60/hour (based on experience)
  • Start date: Immediate
  • Location: Bolton, ON
  • Shifts available: 5:45am - 3:45pm OR 3:45pm - 1:45am
  • Schedule: 10 Hour shifts, Rotational, OR Saturday - Tuesday OR Thursday - Sunday
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary with possibility of Permanence

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, counterbalance forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Pick, move, load, unload, and stage inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to process orders and track inventory.
  • Prepare, pack, label, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and replenishment activities.
  • Inspect products for damage and report inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating warehouse power equipment.
  • Experience with Clamp Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, or Walkies is considered a strong asset.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, material handling, shipping and receiving, or distribution.
  • Experience using RF scanners, WMS, or inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to safety and operational procedures.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work full-time and occasional weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
