Security Guard - Part Time
Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for Part Time Security Guards in Bolton, Ontario.
Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for Part Time Security Guards in Bolton, Ontario.
Job Details:
- Must Drive (Own Vehicle) / Have access to a car.
- Part-time.
- Open availability for weekend shifts (Friday afternoon to Monday morning) - ( 2:30 PM - 10.30 PM/ 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM) is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enforce regulations of establishments.
- Visitor Access Control.
- Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
- Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems).
- Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Operate security control room equipment.
- Patrolling.
- Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
- Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
- Report writing.
Qualifications, Required License, or Certification:
- Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- CPR Level C Certified.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Must be available to do shift work: afternoons, nights, and weekends.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional work ethics.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific.
- Excellent Customer Service.
- Willing to travel 40-50 kilometers to work if needed.
What we offer:
- Part-time.
- Paid training.
- Pay rate $17.75/Hr.
