Our client is a growing Manufacturing company in Vaughan that is part of a very large European public company. They are looking for a \"top\" Finance person for the Canadian division that will effectively represent that Canadian business and report accurate results to the European parent.
This is a new and pivotal hands-on leadership role within a high-growth manufacturing environment. The Corporate Controller will partner closely with the CEO to drive financial strategy, operational efficiency, and scalability. The role encompasses full ownership of financial operations and requires a leader capable of building robust financial infrastructure to support continued growth.
This role is ideally suited to a finance leader who enjoys operating close to the business, driving performance improvements, and establishing best-in-class processes within an entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing financial insight to support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational decision-making.
- Develop forward-looking financial models, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the company’s expansion plans.
- Deliver meaningful KPI reporting that drives accountability and performance across the organization.
- Provide data-led recommendations on pricing strategy, customer profitability, and product mix.

Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Proven expertise in operational and cost accounting.
- Experience operating in a growth-focused or private-equity-style environment is advantageous.
- Prior ERP development/implementation experience is highly desirable.
