Casual until June 1, 2027 All Sites Monday to Friday flexibility required (between 7:45am – 7:30pm) *Some potential for Saturday coverage (8:30am to 4:15pm) Work Arrangement: On Site New Position Compensation Range: $24.46 – $28.59/hour Position Summary : ErinoakKids is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of a Receptionist supporting all of our sites (Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville) on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Family and Community Experience, the Receptionist acts as a first point of contact for our clients and your personality, attitude, and organizational and problem-solving skills influence a client’s impression and experience of the organization.

The successful candidate will provide a positive image of ErinoakKids and will participate as an active member of the site in meeting overall goals and objectives.

The Receptionist’s front-line duties and related administrative functions ensure client and staff needs are supported and that the client’s overall experience with the organization is positive.

Key Responsibilities: Responds to client and general inquiries in person and by telephone, and directs client concerns appropriately following organizational policy; Enters, attends, and edits client appointments in Meditech, as required; Accountable for appointment outcomes and data integrity related to appointments; Ensure client confidentiality at all times; Responsible for overall incoming/outgoing mail for the site; Maintains a safe, clean, and organized reception area; Acts as a main point of contact during emergency codes and procedures and supports any emergency procedures as per organizational policy.

Flexibility required Monday to Friday (between 7:45am – 7:30pm).

Some potential for Saturday coverage (8:30am to 4:15pm) Potential shift timings: Monday to Friday - 7:45am - 2:15pm or 12:30pm - 7:30pm, Fridays 1:00-5:00pm Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar role; Must be able to travel across all three sites ( Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville) Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle A college diploma in a related field is an asset; Proficient knowledge of office equipment (postage meter machines, fax machines, photocopiers and multi-line telephone systems); Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others; Ability to problem-solve effectively to meet the requests and needs of clients and staff; Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner using good judgment; Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products; Working knowledge of Meditech information systems is an asset; Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
