Job Description:
Project Coordinator (Contract)
Work Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada in BC, AB, MB, or ON)
Contract Length: 3 Month Contract (strong possible extensions)
Work Authorization: Canadian Residency / Work Permit Required (no sponsourship available)
DUTIES / DAY TO DAY:
- Own the end-to-end transition plan for a portfolio of customers, including timelines, milestones, and clear next steps.
- Duplicate and lightly customize existing campaign builds to align with each organization's requirements and branding.
- Run customer check-ins and milestone reviews, translating technical tasks into plain-language status updates.
- Coordinate internal handoffs with Support and migration specialists, keeping notes and decisions easy to find.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including screenshots, configuration notes, and customer-facing handover materials. Track tasks, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent transitions without dropping details.
- Support basic QA and pre-launch validation, ensuring the build matches agreed requirements before go-live. Project
- Identify edge cases early, troubleshoot what you can independently, and escalate with the right context when needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS / BACKGROUND:
Technical Skills:
- Prior experience administering a fundraising, CRM, or donation platform (or similar SaaS tooling used by nonprofits).
- Working knowledge of basic website builders and page editors to apply custom branding and troubleshoot display issues.
- Familiarity with Slack workflows and project management tools (, Notion, Jira, Asana, Trello, Linear, etc.).
- A quality assurance mindset, including basic testing and validation before go live.
Project Coordination Skills:
- Experience in customer-facing project coordination or implementation, with strong communication and timeline management.
- Ability to manage stakeholder coordination and handoffs across multiple internal teams.
- Strong documentation habits, including clear notes, screenshots, and handover summaries. Confident task tracking and prioritization across multiple customers and workstreams.
Soft Skills:
- Solution-oriented problem solving, including knowing when and how to escalate.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in build review and pre-launch checks.
- Customer empathy and calm communication during periods of uncertainty and change.
- Adaptability to follow playbooks while tailoring support to unique customer needs.
