· working collaboratively with all Youth Services staff and attending staff meetings and in-services; and,

· performing other related work, as required.

The preferred candidate will have completion of Grade 12, supplemented by post-secondary courses related to the work (i.e., Child and Youth Care, Recreation, etc.) plus related lived, professional and/or volunteer experience to demonstrate required skills, or an equivalent combination of training and afore-mentioned experience; and current Emergency First Aid (or better), CPR ‘C’ and AED certification.

Preferred candidates possess a strong understanding of youth's diverse needs, concerns, and psychosocial development to create and maintain safe, inclusive, and engaging spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. They communicate effectively, prioritize meaningful youth engagement, and build genuine, trusting relationships while upholding appropriate ethics and professional boundaries. They act as a positive role model, provide information and appropriate referrals, and work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse community setting.

We recognize the importance of a diverse workplace and strive to meaningfully reflect the community we so proudly serve. We encourage Indigenous applicants, people of colour, all genders, 2SLGBTQIA+, and persons with disabilities to apply.

The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check with vulnerable sector and a copy of their credentials.
