BMO is currently sourcing for a Business Process Analyst to support the TPS line of business. This is a hybrid contract role in Toronto (3 days in office per week).
Role Overview:
The Business Process Analyst will analyze and design business processes, focusing on identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to document business rules and assess the effectiveness of current processes, directly impacting operational efficiency and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current process models (As-is) and compare them with future designs (To-be) to identify necessary changes.
- Design and manage business processes (To-be) while overseeing subsequent modifications.
- Identify, document, and analyze the business rules governing process implementation.
- Test and execute processes to confirm accurate results.
- Evaluate processes comprehensively to understand the effects of changes on people, strategy, software applications, and business operations.
- Gather feedback on process performance to inform future improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of processes and identify inefficiencies within workflows.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in process consulting with a focus on business operations.
- Strong leadership experience, including running workshops.
- Proficient in writing procedures and process mapping.
- Ability to analyze information from customers, vendors, and stakeholders effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of business process analysis techniques.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with VISIO or other process mapping tools.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Demonstrates a strategic mindset with the ability to drive process improvements.
- Capable of synthesizing complex information into actionable insights.
