Our client is an engineering consulting firm that specializes in providing mechanical and electrical engineering services across various industries, including healthcare, education, and commercial developments. With decades of experience, they deliver solutions focused on energy management, sustainable design, and infrastructure systems. They are recognized for integrating innovation and sustainability into their projects, aiming to create efficient and resilient buildings.
Responsibilities
Design high voltage substations, including grounding, protection, and control systems.
Perform arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies using CDEGS, eTAP, and Easy Power.
Provide high voltage designs for industrial / commercial facilities and coordinate with other disciplines.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams for timely project delivery.
Mentor junior staff and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering; power systems specialization preferred.
8+ years of experience
Direct substation design experience and grounding measurement expertise.
Proficient in AutoCAD, CDEGS, eTAP, and knowledgeable of Canadian Electrical Codes.
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
