Salary : 100K-125K; bonus, benefits, RRSP Permanent full-timeLocation : Trenton - Kingston – Peterborough, ON area5 days on-site Our client is a global manufacturer of Control Panels for heavy equipment (design, development, engineering & fabrication of Control Panels) and has a job open for Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer responsible for the wiring diagrams, schematics system design, power distribution, documentation, integration and testing of custom-built high voltage electrical control panels for heavy machinery. The job is based in Trenton - Kingston – Peterborough, ON and will require 5 days on site.

An Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer will be based in the manufacturing plant and will be responsible for designing electrical control panels, developing detailed control schematics, logic diagrams, and wiring layouts using AutoCAD Electrical, CREO inpliance with IEC standards. You will allocate power distribution, specify AC electrical panels, ensuring they meet electrical safety codes and performance standards, select appropriateponents such as circuit breakers, relays, transformers and wiring to create efficient and reliable AC panel designs, detailed electrical schematics, control diagrams, and panel layouts. You will coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensureponents are sourced to specifications, test, troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to panel performance or system integration, ensurepliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations, including local (US) and international codes (e.g., IEC, NEC) and develop documentation for panel builds, including detailed technical drawings, instructions, and reports for the manufacturing teams. You will assist manufacturing if there are any installationmissioning issues and modify the design.Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and close to years of Design Engineering experience, ideally in designing the ‘Controls & Distribution hub’ / Control Panels for heavy duty mobile equipment; familiarity with VFD for motors, transformers and similar is a MUST. Experience working with manufacturing to modify / change the design and be able to independently work with design teams in other countries is a MUST. Excellent Englishmunication skills, ability to work in large manufacturing plant independently is a MUST.
