Elevator mechanic Jobs in Fredericton, NB

Responsibilities

:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a broad range of equipment including hand tools, conveyors, shotblast machines, paint equipment, welding equipment and rigging as well as CNC bandsaws, drills and punches.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Perform inspections on various equipment and rigging
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs to overhead cranes
• Maintain parts inventory
• Maintain maintenance logs
• Assist in coordination of outside maintenance contractors and personnel
• Maintenance of building infrastructure
• Assist in Capital Project improvements
• Follow all safe work practices and procedures
• Working at heights
• Overtime as required

Requirements:

• Red Seal Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic/Millwright
• Electrical and PLC experience is a strong asset
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with Pneumatics, schematics and machine drawings
