Our client, industry leader in heavy equipment services, is seeking a Heacy Duty Mechanic-shop Foreman to join their team. As a Heacy Duty Mechanic-shop Foreman, you will be part of the operations team supporting maintenance and repair activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Heacy Duty Mechanic-shop Foreman

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Pay Range:$33.00 to $38.00 per hour

Shift: Days

What's the Job?

• Oversee daily maintenance and repair of heavy equipment including diesel engines, compact equipment, Ariel lift equipment, and other machinery.
• Manage and coordinate shop activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Supervise and support a team of technicians, providing guidance and mentorship to foster skill development.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all operations.
• Diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

• Experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, with knowledge of diesel engines and various machinery types.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
