Our client, a leading organization in the transportation industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic to join their team. As a Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic, you will be an integral part of the maintenance and repair department, supporting the operational efficiency of the fleet. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance, aligning successfully with the organization’s commitment to safety and excellence.

Job Title: Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Pay Range: $42/hour

Shift: Days

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and transport vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Inspect vehicles regularly and document findings for maintenance records.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards.

What's Needed?

• Red Seal certification in Truck and Transport Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Previous experience in truck and transport repairs is preferred but not mandatory.
