Job description

Our client in London, specializing in construction, development, and property management, is seeking a driven and adaptable Controller to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization with a flat organizational structure and a hands-on approach.

You will be a hands-on Controller for the core business, managing full-cycle accounting. You will report directly to the COO and the President and be very hands-on in the finances of the organization. Work Arrangement: Fully in-office in London, ON. Flexible start and end times.

What our client has to offer:
  • Excellent compensation: £110,000 to £125,000 (negotiable)

Responsibilities:
  • Perform full-cycle accounting for the core business, and potentially transition to managing financials for other entities.
  • Manage a team of three accountants
  • Adapt to changes on the fly and respond to immediate requests from the owner.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounting operations.
  • Utilize strong Excel skills and general tech proficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Controller with full-cycle accounting expertise.
  • Experience working with multiple different companies and entities, especially within construction, development, or property management, is a significant asset.
  • CPA is a strong preference; candidates nearing completion with relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and general tech proficiency.
  • Ability to work fully in-office, 5 days a week, in London.
