Controller

We are currently searching for a Controller to join a leading International company at their London, Ontario office. The role will provide an excellent opportunity to mentor under a seasoned Director of Finance and VP of Finance and grow your leadership skills while coordinating the finance functions of the Canadian Finance Team.

Key responsibilities include :

• Manage the financial reporting and month-end close process.
• Ensure proper financial control systems are in place to manage risk and audit compliance.
• Lead and coach the finance team in functional areas including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, inter-company processes and reconciliations and various governmental filings and statutory financial reporting.
• Manage the tracking of plant operational and capital improvement budgets.
• Perform capital cost / benefit analysis of capital expenditures.
• Management of the Financial ERP system and processes.
• Assist with the building and maintaining of complex financial modelling for income statement, balance sheet and cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with the global finance group on shared initiatives.
• Develop and track KPI's and creation of dashboards to assess performance that supports the company's strategic direction.
