Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Controller for a temporary to possibly permanent position. This role offers a competitive hourly rate between $110-$130 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on internal controls, financial reporting, and cost management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Location : Cambridge, ON
Shifts : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities :
Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and strategic plans to ensure alignment with corporate goals and timelines.
Oversee internal controls at the plant level for operations, sales, and finance; perform audits on bills of materials and product costing.
Analyze and report the current month's financial results, ensuring accuracy in all transactions and reporting.
Maintain accurate physical inventory records, conduct regular reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies between book and physical counts.
Review and analyze production, labor, material, and manufacturing overhead costs to ensure accurate costing in line with production operations.
Attend plant meetings, participate in walkthroughs with the General Manager, and facilitate discussions on production issues, inventory, and costs.
Document, manage, and optimize ERP / MRP systems to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls. Requirements :
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
CPA designation (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within accounting or finance in a fast-paced job shop manufacturing environment
Proficiency in costing systems and financial reporting software
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and report financial data accurately
