• Senior Client Systems Analyst 18 : Salaries range from $94664 to $126219 annuallybased on qualifications and experiences plus a performance-based incentive.

Location :

Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment currently requiring employees to work in the office 2 days per week (subject to change).

This role can be performed from EDCs headquarters in Ottawa or from one of our Community Hubs located in Toronto Mississauga Montreal Brossard Laval Calgary Edmonton Halifax or Vancouver.

Team Overview :

The Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) group under the leadership of the Chief Information Officer was established in 2023 with the mission of empowering our customers and colleagues to take on the world by seamlessly delivering secure and reliable digital experiences. Digital & Technology Solutions has set out to achieve the following objectives for EDC :

Define execute and sustain the integrated technology target state target data model and technology operations required to enable EDCs 2030 business transformation.

Establish and manage the rolling 3 Year Digital Roadmap that sequences the technology outcomes required to achieve the technology target state and facilitates its execution across all domains in the organization.

Keep pace with industry trends and emerging technologies ensuring EDC has access to the digital technology tools it needs to stay relevant in the market and grow Canadian global trade.

Lead and ensure integrated digital data infrastructure and cybersecurity implementations to create excellent customer user and employee experiences.

EDCs Workplace Solutions team enhances organizational communication collaboration and business operations. The Technical Lead is responsible for designing developing integrating and implementing both short and long-term solutions through software and infrastructure. This role involves project delivery software maintenance vendor collaboration and ensuring that solutions meet IT standards and business requirements.

In collaboration with the Workplace Solutions Technical Lead the Client Systems Analyst partners with managed service providers to deliver solutions and oversee operational support.

This person must be able to perform all aspects of desktop technology delivery. This includes collaborating with vendors consulting with partners to ensure articulation of business requirements translating requirements into viable solutions solution testing and eventual deployment into necessary environments.

What you will be doing :

Executes tasks related to the design development integration and operation of information systems.

Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and recommends strategies to enhance or better leverage them.

Interprets system models specifications diagrams and charts to guide delivery teams and maintain productive relationships with third-party vendors (managed services).

Maintains standards and processes for system deployment testing and governance.

Provides expert-level support for complex technical issues including managing the full solution lifecycle.

Ensures system security performance and availability through proactive monitoring and configuration.

Administers and configures mobile devices for end users using Office365 Intune Hybrid (SCCM integrated with Intune) and Azure Active Directory environments.

Acts as an internal advocate for end users escalating issues to Technical Leads when necessary and maintaining clear communication.

Monitors the health performance and stability of endpoint infrastructure (hardware and software) including tuning and long-term planning.

Executes critical tasks and projects related to endpoint technologies such as workstations and laptops.

What we are looking for :

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems or other related field

Minimum of 5 years experience working as a subject matter expert on the following :

o Endpoint Management

o Microsoft 365 (Office Apps SharePoint Online Exchange Online Teams)

o Windows Desktop Operating Systems

o Mobile Device Management (MDM)

Possesses a proven track record in managing transitions to new endpoint technologies.

Brings expertise in overseeing the evolution of endpoint technology systems.

Communication skills with the ability to create and maintain technical processes and procedures

Strong analytical and problem resolution skills including technical problem solving

Works independently with guidance in only the most complex situations

Interprets internal / external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services
