On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Bilingual Recovery Claims Adjuster to manage low-to-moderate complexity property claims from initial notice through final resolution. This role focuses on delivering a seamless, fair, and supportive member experience by accurately interpreting policy coverages, conducting thorough file investigations, and maintaining an organized claim inventory.

Responsibilities
Claims Recovery & Subrogation Management: Proactively handle the end-to-end recovery process for low-to-moderate complexity claims. Evaluate potential avenues for salvage and subrogation, collect supporting evidence, negotiate settlements within established limits, and represent the company in intercompany arbitration or subrogation litigation as required.
Reserving & Financial Accuracy: Evaluate input from appraisers, contractors, and independent adjusters to establish, maintain, and update accurate loss, expense, and salvage reserves throughout the claim lifecycle.
Liability & File Investigation: Conduct thorough liability investigations in alignment with company adjusting guidelines, leveraging internal expertise and external vendor resources appropriately.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Drive timely, multi-channel communication (phone, digital, and written) with clients and stakeholders. Coordinate third-party vendor services and maintain complete, policy-compliant file records in the claims management system.
Compliance & Professional Development: Stay current on evolving insurance legislation, industry trends, and internal standard operating procedures, while executing operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on claims adjusting experience covering property and automobile lines.
Bilingual Capability: Full professional fluency in both French and English (written and verbal).
Professional Accreditation: Actively pursuing or enrolled in the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) program. A post-secondary degree or diploma is considered a strong asset.
Investigation & Analysis: Proven investigative skills with a track record of evaluating evidence, analyzing coverage, and resolving claims accurately.
Negotiation & Service Delivery: Strong negotiation tactics paired with a customer-centric, empathetic approach to supporting clients through the claims process.
Organization & Detail: Highly organized with exceptional time management, high data-entry accuracy, and the agility to prioritize pending files in a fast-paced environment.
