Career opportunity:
Our subsidiary, Harbourfront Wealth Council, is looking to hire a permanent full-time Portfolio Administrator on our Millar Private Wealth team based in Ontario. Reporting to the Lead, Estate & Family Wealth Planning, the ideal candidate must have a meticulous attention to detail, possess a positive attitude, and have exceptional interpersonal skills.

You will be responsible for:
  • Preparing account opening documents.
  • Processing client account transactions.
  • Completing financial requests, i.e., wire transfers and deposits, etc.
  • Reconciling client accounts.
  • Fee reconciliation.
  • Maintaining records and files in accordance with regulatory guidelines according to established formats. Assisting with client inquiries and meetings.
  • Utilizing various custodial or third-party software programs for client management and administration. Maintaining client correspondence records and databases.
  • Producing timely and accurate reports/documentation as required.
  • Assisting with client meetings, preparation of presentation/meeting materials, correspondence, creation of reports, spreadsheets and the completion of special projects.
  • Keeping the electronic client documents stored on the network up-to-date and located in the appropriate directories according to existing procedures.
  • Maintaining investment forms, product information, presentation materials, investment fund descriptions and historical rates of return.

The ideal candidate for this position has:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial industry,
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CS)
  • Experience utilizing Ndex and NBIN systems.
  • Advanced computer skills including proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and the ability to learn new programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
