Responsibilities

1. Test Script Creation and Execution

Create test scripts for League Data's product, outlining the specific steps and actions required to test each aspect of the developed product.

Create step-by-step actions to test each step of the process within each product, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.

Test each test script for each product to ensure accuracy, verifying that the product functions as intended and meets the required specifications.

Ensure that each step of the product that is defective is tested until it is working as designed, conducting thorough testing to identify and resolve any issues or defects.

2. Defect Documentation and Reporting

Accurately document any defects within the product, recording detailed information about the issues encountered during testing.

Provide accurate and detailed documentation for all detected defects, including clear descriptions, steps to reproduce, and any additional relevant information.

3. Training and Knowledge Enhancement

Train end-users on how to test each product, providing guidance and instructions to ensure accurate and effective testing.

Ensure each test is performed accurately and according to League Data guidelines through regular training sessions, promoting consistency and adherence to testing protocols.

Understand, innovate, and remain current with League Data's products, staying updated with the latest features, functionalities, and enhancements.

Remain current with industry standards and company policies, ensuring that testing practices align with industry best practices and internal guidelines.

4. Collaboration and Support

Provide backup support to the Implementation team as needed, offering assistance and expertise during implementation processes.

Create and lead scrum calls for the Quality Assurance team to review any issues as needed, fostering effective communication and collaboration within the team.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or other relevant experience
• Experience working with or writing test plans
• Working knowledge of test automation tools and manual testing practices
• Working knowledge of Bug Tracking, Ticketing, and Tests
