Job description

We are looking for a reliable General Labourer / Warehouse Associate for a 3-day assignment in Toronto running from August 31 to September 2. This position is focused on heavy material handling, specifically loading and unloading incoming and outgoing freight. It is ideal for candidates looking for steady afternoon hours in an active warehouse environment.

Advantages
Great Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr.

Convenient Hours: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM shift structure allows you to keep your mornings free.

Quick Assignment: Earn income over a short 3-day period (Aug 31 – Sept 2).

Location: Centrally located in Toronto with public transit access.

Responsibilities
Loading & Unloading: Manually load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.

Material Handling: Move, stack, stage, and organize skids and boxes throughout the dock area.

Palletizing: Wrap skids securely to ensure cargo is safe for transport.

Site Upkeep: Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace by sweeping and disposing of packaging waste.

Qualifications
Heavy Lifting: Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Safety Gear: Must own and wear CSA-approved safety boots (steel-toe).

Reliability: Punctual and able to commit to the full 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM schedule for all 3 days.

Work Ethic: Strong stamina, physical endurance, and ability to follow basic safety instructions.
