The Village of Taunton Mills located in Whitby, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer and Student Services Coordinator.

Shift Details : 65 hours per month (approx. 15 per week)

As our new Volunteer & Student Services Coordinator you will :
- Post-secondary education in a human services related field (Social Services, Recreation, Volunteer Services, Gerontology, etc.)
- Provide leadership for volunteer and student programs including recruitment, orientation (warm welcome), engagement, supervision, ongoing education, evaluation and recognition activities.
- Explore opportunities for on-going volunteer and student community building including to ensure volunteers and students feel connected to each other, the Village and the community at large.
- Act as a liaison (where applicable), between the Village leadership, and postsecondary partners for the Living Classroom to ensure successful integration into Village life in partnership with the People Team at Support Office.
- Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support
