Job descriptionCollege Diploma or University degree. Minimum 2 years’ experience in office administration; experience in transportation or waste management is an asset. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Transportation (asset). Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (intermediate level). Typing speed of at least 65 WPM with accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize, manage change, and adapt to constant change environment. Strong initiative, motivation, and ability to work independently and in teams. Detail-oriented and results-driven. Ability to design and execute work and project plans. Professional, courteous, and welcoming demeanor. Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle with occasional travel. Experience with financial statements and business administration (preferred). Operations Coordinator coordinates, monitors, and assists with improving service activities for an organization or group. Provides support to operations personnel and ensures services are effective and customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Setup and coordinate initial training for all new facility staff.
- Assist customer service with operational inquiries and communicate customer requirements to staff via the operations team.
- Document and maintain all SOP compliance records for the staff at the facility.
- Data entry of DVIRs into fleet management system.
- Filing and maintenance of drivers’ logs, run sheets, and DVIRs.
- Assist Operations Managers with daily activities.
- Filing, scanning, and processing of work orders, waste transportation, and lab analysis documentation.
- Assist purchaser with procurement, receiving, and distribution of tools / supplies.
- Maintain supplies inventory including physical counts, storage, and replenishment.
- Assist with purchasing inquiries and communication with suppliers.
- File and document purchasing and receiving paperwork.
- Process monthly waste inventory accruals.
