Job description

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Process Practice Management, will report to the Director, Process Practice Management & Strategy within Operations Process Engineering (OPE). This role is your chance to be a catalyst for transformation in how we govern, manage, and sustain processes across our Operations teams. As a process management expert, you’ll partner with Operations Process Owners and OPE teams to drive a consistent, sustainable, and disciplined approach to process management.

You will strengthen the backbone of our operations by refining process ownership, lifecycle governance, process inventory, procedure management, and process standards; all while leveraging our cutting-edge repository. You’ll translate complex standards into actionable, practical ways of working that boost accountability, transparency, and process discipline.

The role will also support the continued evolution of the Process Practice, helping Operations teams strengthen process management capability, adopt consistent practices and maintain processes effectively as the organization continues to transform.

What will you do?

  • Leadership: Provide thought leadership in Process Practice Management, helping shape and mature process management frameworks, standards, methodologies, tools and ways of working that can be consistently applied across Operations.
  • Process Governance & Management: Establish practical approaches to process ownership, lifecycle management, procedure governance, process inventory and repository management, and ongoing process oversight to strengthen accountability and sustainability.
  • Strategic Execution: Partner with Operations Process Owners, OPE teams and transformation partners to apply process management practices to strategic initiatives, operational improvements and evolving business needs.
  • Capability & Adoption: Promote process management disciplines through coaching, knowledge sharing, stakeholder engagement and the development of practical tools and resources that enable consistent adoption.
  • Data & Insights: Assess process management maturity and process health, identify gaps and emerging needs, and provide recommendations to leadership on priorities, risks and opportunities to strengthen the practice.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Stewardship: Build strong relationships across Operations, Technology, Risk, Data and Transformation teams to ensure process management practices are integrated with broader operational priorities and capabilities.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Technology Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in business process management, process governance, operational excellence, transformation or related disciplines within a large and complex organization.
  • Strong knowledge of process management practices, including process ownership, lifecycle governance, process inventory, procedure management, process standards and continuous improvement.
  • Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex process and governance challenges into practical and scalable solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to assess process maturity, identify gaps and use insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting or building a process management practice, center of excellence, or similar enterprise capability.
  • Experience with process repositories, process documentation platforms, or governance tools, including SharePoint or comparable solutions.
  • Lean Six Sigma, BPM, or other recognized process management or continuous improvement certification.
  • Experience working in a large, regulated organization, with exposure to operational risk, controls, audit, or regulatory requirements.
