• Apprentice Truck and Trailer or Trailer Technician
• is responsible for the company’s performance in terms of efficient effective and timely repairs and maintenance on the Bison Transport tractor fleet. The Tractor Apprentice is expected to be a team player in the Maintenance Department. They must be able to follow direction from the licensed technician to diagnose and repair recurring problems and effectively communicate these to other members of the Maintenance Team. Good communication skills and a professional attitude are basic requirements.
• Qualifications :
• Apprentice with
• minimum of Level 1 or 2
• Truck and Transport Mechanic
• You will be a registered Apprentice with the
• Skilled Trades BC.
• Passed the Apprenticeship entry exam
• The desire to obtain your Truck and Transport Mechanic License will be key to your success in this position
• Experience working on tractors and trailers as a Truck and Transport Mechanic would be an asset
• Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities
• Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers
• Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry)
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Shift Schedules :
