If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America - we want to hear from you! ABOUT THE ROLE The Electrical Maintenance Coordinator ensures all electrical, instrumentation, and automation work is completed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. The primary objective is to reach maximum reliability of plant installations while optimizing operating costs and adhering to OH&S regulations. This role coordinates with other departments to execute maintenance per plan, improves asset value through increased equipment availability, and assists plant teams in specifying new electrical equipment. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Coordinate the development and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs for plant electrical and automation installations. Manage the execution of daily maintenance activities and major shutdowns, ensuring work is completed with internal or contracted resources. Improve plant reliability by identifying critical spare parts and proposing optimal stock levels through FMEA and RCA techniques. Determine and schedule necessary corrective actions for instrumentation and automation equipment to minimize unplanned downtime. Support the Maintenance Manager in the elaboration and control of the maintenance budget, ensuring follow-up on maintenance costs. Supervise the quality of work performed by maintenance electricians and third-party contractors in the field. Lead the evaluation and training programs for the electrical maintenance team to develop technical competencies. Champion innovation by considering new technologies to optimize maintenance costs and improve technical conditions of equipment. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: Bachelor's Degree or Certified Tradesman (Electrician) with a Blue Seal certificate preferred. Additional Education Preferred: Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) membership. Field of Study Preferred: Electrical Engineering or related technical field. Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of maintenance experience in cement or similar heavy industry. Required Training/Certifications: Knowledge of industrial safety techniques and practices. Required Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of SAP (PM, MM, PS), Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, TIS, and PLC troubleshooting. Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required away from the regular worksite. Additional Requirements: Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance tasks including motors, drives, power systems, and instrumentation. Experience in a unionized environment and ability to manage stress in critical situations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. WHAT WE OFFER Estimated Wage Range: $115,000 - $130,000/Annually. Bonus Opportunity of up to 24% of Base Salary. Flexible Health & Dental benefits coverage for you and your dependants. A generous Pension Plan designed to support you through various stages of your career and life. Access to voluntary programs like RRSP and TFSA for future financial planning. Healthy Living support through an Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), offering confidential assistance for work, health, or life challenges. Easy access to mental health and well-being support. Service recognition awards to celebrate your contributions. Perks & discounts on a variety of products and services. Access to online learning platforms, financial educational assistance, and a culture that fosters career growth and opportunities. Financial support for new parents beyond statutory benefits. An inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can be themselves. A collaborative work culture in a supportive and team-oriented work environment. Company-provided personal protective equipment ensuring your safety and comfort on the job where applicable. As part of our dedicated focus on the health and safety of all employees, a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check, may be required.
