Adecco is currently hiring a Talent Sourcing Specialist for an exciting opportunity supporting recruitment initiatives across multiple business functions. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in talent sourcing, executive search, recruitment, candidate engagement, talent mapping, and pipeline development.

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and building relationships with top talent for critical positions, including leadership and executive-level roles. Working closely with Talent Acquisition partners and hiring managers, you will help drive sourcing strategies and build diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines.

The successful candidate must be living within commuting distance of the Ottawa area.

Please note: As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.

• Pay Rate: Starting at $25/hour (depending on experience)

• Location: Ottawa, ON | Hybrid work model with remote predominance

• Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing & Market Research

• Execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill roles.

• Source both active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, databases, networking, and other sourcing channels.

• Conduct talent mapping and market research to identify top talent.

Candidate Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective candidates.

• Generate interest and awareness of career opportunities through targeted outreach.

• Create positive candidate experiences throughout the sourcing process.

Stakeholder Partnership

• Partner closely with Talent Acquisition teams and hiring managers to understand hiring needs.

• Assist in refining candidate profiles and sourcing strategies.

• Present qualified candidate shortlists to recruiting partners.

Pipeline Management & Reporting

• Build and maintain active talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

• Ensure timely communication and follow-up with candidates.

• Track sourcing activity and maintain accurate candidate records within recruitment systems.

• Report on sourcing metrics and provide insights on talent market trends and pipeline health.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, executive search, or talent acquisition.

• Experience sourcing for multiple functions and senior-level roles; global recruitment experience is an asset.

• Advanced sourcing expertise using: LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, Talent databases, Networking and referral strategies, alternative sourcing channels

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to build relationships and engage passive candidates.

• Collaborative team player with experience working cross-functionally.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Data-driven mindset with experience tracking metrics and recruitment performance.

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and recruitment technologies.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Dedicated and secure work-from-home space with reliable communication capabilities.

• Ability to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
