Job Summary
We are seeking a Leasing Specialist for a permanent opportunity in the real estate and property management industry. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working with residents, prospective tenants, property management teams, and contractors in a fast-paced residential environment.
The Leasing Specialist will be responsible for leasing residential properties, supporting building operations, maintaining tenant relationships, and ensuring properties are professionally managed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with leasing, customer service, and property management experience who is organized, professional, and able to balance resident needs with operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, present suites and amenities, and process qualified rental applications.
* Support daily property operations, including tenant communication, maintenance coordination, contractor scheduling, and building inspections.
* Prepare and maintain leasing documents, rental applications, deposits, inspection reports, and tenant records.
* Respond to resident requests, complaints, maintenance concerns, and emergencies in a professional manner.
* Collaborate with property management and marketing teams to achieve leasing goals and support occupancy targets.
* Ensure compliance with Residential Tenancy Act requirements, including notices, move-in/move-out documentation, and dispute resolution support.
Compensation and Benefits
* Salary: $60,000 + Commission
