Kelly is hiring!
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our client’s legal team in daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing legal documents, scheduling appointments, handling client communications, and assisting with legal research. The role requires proficiency in legal terminology, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Organize and maintain client files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions, and manage calendars for attorneys.
  • Assist with legal research and case preparation.
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle client inquiries.
  • Manage billing, invoicing, and ensure compliance with legal billing practices.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, court personnel, and clients as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or legal role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus.

  • Pay rate 27-33/hour + vacation pay (depending on experience)
  • Full time contract set at 3 months and for the right candidate a permanent opportunity is available.
