Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in QuickBooks (or QuickBooks Enterprise) and strong Excel skills. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting functions and ensure accurate financial record-keeping in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accounts payable and receivable functions

• Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks / QuickBooks Enterprise

• Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries

• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

• Use Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

• Assist with audits and financial reporting as required

• Maintain organized accounting documentation

Requirements:

• Prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

• Proficiency in QuickBooks or QuickBooks Enterprise

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Accounting diploma or certification (e.g., Bookkeeping, Accounting)

• Experience handling full-cycle accounting functions

• Familiarity with payroll processing is an asset
