We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in application migration across clusters and remediating security vulnerabilities identified during migration activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring secure, stable, and compliant application transitions across environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport migration of Java applications from one cluster to another (e.g., Kubernetes OpenShift environments).Identify, analyze, and fix security vulnerabilities detected during migration, including those flagged by security scans (SAST DAST, container scans, dependency checks).Remediate vulnerabilities related toJava libraries and thirdparty dependenciesApplication configurationContainer images and runtime environmentsWork closely with security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with organizational security standards.Refactor or upgrade application components (Java versions, frameworks, libraries) as needed to address security risks.Validate application stability and performance postmigration.Provide documentation and support for migration and remediation activities.
Required Skills Experience
Strong hands on experience with Java (81117 preferred) and enterprise Java applications.
Experience in application migration between clusters or environments.
Proven experience addressing security vulnerabilities in Java applications
- Familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fortify, OWASP Dependency Check).Understanding of containerized applications and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes OpenShift).Knowledge of CICD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.
Good to Have Experience with Spring Boot frameworks. Experience working in banking or regulated environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Exposure to cluster networking, ingress, and configuration management.
