API Management: Design, build, and maintain high-performing REST-based API platforms capable of handling high transaction volumes.
Agile Leadership: Lead daily Agile routines, participate in SCRUM sessions, and estimate user stories with minimal direction.
Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner closely with product teams to onboard new functional requirements while participating in and driving rigorous code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
Database Optimization: Write and optimize complex SQL queries and analyze query plans to ensure peak application performance.
QualificationsExperience: 10+ years of progressive industry experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java/J2EE.
Agile Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience working in a Scaled Agile environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Core Required: Core Java, REST APIs, RedHat OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Database & Tools: Expertise in complex SQL and query plans; working knowledge of GitHub or BitBucket.
DevOps: Practical experience with enterprise DevOps CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
Secondary Assets: Familiarity with J2EE standards, Application Architecture, and Application Security best practices.
