The PM will be accountable for managing scope, schedule, cost, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, independent judgment, and professional credibility, recognized by peers and clients as a practical, innovative, and highly capable Project Manager.
  • Act as the primary interface with clients and key stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and support the growth of Kinectrics’ business capabilities.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of internal teams, including Design Engineering, Nuclear Safety, Facility Staff, Procurement, and Construction, on complex and high-profile matters.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and resolve complex project risks and issues.
  • Provide accurate, timely project information to Kinectrics management, project teams, and clients through proposals, reports, recommendations, and presentations.
  • Develop innovative technical and project delivery solutions that extend beyond established practices to meet evolving client needs.
  • Manage vendor performance and support effective interdepartmental coordination to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure projects are supported by robust, integrated schedules, including critical path analysis, cost loading, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), logic ties, constraints, milestones, and coding.
  • Maintain historical project data to support future cost and schedule estimating and impact analysis.
  • Independently plan, develop, write, and present major project proposals.
  • Establish and communicate Project Execution Plans that clearly define roles, responsibilities, and authority.
  • Provide mentorship and work direction to junior staff and review complex deliverables for technical and procedural accuracy.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A four-year university degree in Engineering (Electrical/I&C, Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, and/or) or equivalent is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience independently managing multidisciplinary projects with significant scope and complexity, demonstrating strong leadership and project management capability. Candidates with less experience but strong qualifications may be considered for a developmental role.
  • Working knowledge of basic generation plant design/operation related to Nuclear power plants, skid-based designs, or international power projects.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to engage effectively in both formal and informal settings.
  • Strong ability to quickly understand technical and business processes, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proven capability to independently prepare and present information to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated strengths in advanced problem solving, conflict resolution, change management, and decision making.
