  • Work-Life Balance: Straight day shifts with an early exit every Friday at 1:00 PM.
  • Full-Time Stability: Predictable, year-round manufacturing hours with zero swing shifts.
  • Skill Advancement: On-the-job training in metal preparation, mechanical fastening, blueprint navigation, and custom subassembly work.
  • Clear Upward Mobility: Join an established Kitchener employer dedicated to promoting talent from within.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and mount critical structural components for commercial truck bodies.
  • Operate a broad suite of hand and power tools safely (drills, impact drivers, torque wrenches, rivet guns, and saws).
  • Cut and prep raw steel, aluminum, and timber according to job specifications.
  • Align, bolt, screw, and fasten subassemblies to keep the production line moving seamlessly.
  • Inspect, detail, and prep finished units for customer delivery and final quality assurance.
  • Assist the shop foreman with incoming materials, staging parts, and routine shop upkeep to ensure a safe, efficient work floor.

Qualifications

  • Prior background in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or an active shop environment.
  • Solid experience operating everyday hand and power equipment with confidence.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, spatial awareness, and manual dexterity.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably on your feet.
  • Reliable personal transportation to the Kitchener facility.
  • Clear communication skills with a safety-first mindset.
