Job description

As Channel Marketing Specialist you will be part of a dedicated team based in Cambridge and reporting to the Head of Marketing and Product Development. As a key member of the Marketing Team you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing programs that drive sales, brand visibility, and customer engagement across key retail channels. Acting as a critical liaison between the sales and marketing team and retail partners, this role ensures alignment of go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, merchandising and digital content.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leadership to develop channel-specific marketing strategies aligned with company objectives including seasonal promotions, product launces, and in-store activations.
  • Execute partner-led marketing activities focused on driving pipeline growth and supporting channel account managers in meeting revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with retail partners to deliver co-branded campaigns, promotional events, and digital merchandising initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with retailer-specific marketing requirements, including planograms, content, and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and distribute partner communications such as newsletters, toolkits, and promotional updates.
  • Execute digital campaigns with partners (emails, paid media, social content) and measure performance.
  • Plan and manage marketing events such as webinars, trade shows, and training sessions.
  • Work with creative and international teams and vendors to produce packaging, in-store displays, and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate with corporate, regional, and channel teams to align marketing efforts, share best practices, and maintain consistent brand standards across all retail and digital touchpoints.

Digital Channel

  • Oversee content creation and optimization across e-commerce platforms (Amazon A+ Content, Home Depot, etc.)
  • Monitor online product performance, ratings, and reviews to improve conversion and customer engagement.
  • Enhance visibility and conversion through SEP, paid media, and retails media networks.
  • Manage the sales and marketing materials for retail specific portals (Syndigo, Orange, Apron, Amazon Vendor Central etc.)
  • Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Track sales performance, campaign effectiveness, and market share across all channels.
  • Provide actionable insights on consumer trends, competitive activity, and retail opportunities.
  • Maintain dashboards and create regular report for both internal stakeholders and retail partners.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of channel or retail marketing experience, ideally with consumer products, tools, or hardware industries.
  • Expertise in SEO retail, media, product content optimization, and conversion rate improvement across online marketplaces.
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns, both digital and in-store.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinker able to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Creative problem-solver with proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners.
  • Skilled in working with cross functional teams including sales, product, and creative to deliver aligned marketing initiatives.
