Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the jobholder will ensure the meticulous preparation of aluminum components for the manufacture of curtain walls, in compliance with drawings and production requirements. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Use hand tools such as drill press, bench saw, punching machine and cutting saw to perform required operations. Read and interpret technical drawings to measure, mark and arrange aluminum according to specifications or templates. Assemble, cut and join metal parts in compliance with quality requirements. Perform various operations on aluminum, including cutting, bending, punching, drilling and straightening. Grind and polish joints and surfaces to ensure a clean, uniform finish. Apply protection to aluminum sheets and package finished products as required. Perform various tasks such as steel preparation, pre-assembly, screen fabrication (small frame), installation of floating heads, as well as spandrel and louver assembly. All other related tasks. REQUIREMENTS Knowledge and use of hand tools and cutting equipment (bench saw, punching machine, pressdrill, etc.). Good manual dexterity and ability to handle metal materials. Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
