Role : System Administrator

Location Montreal, QC Hybrid)

Duration - 6+Months Contract, possibility of extension

Role Description :

Strong technical skills on CommVault and other backup tools like Avamar, NetBackup and Backup Exec ? Maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting backup issue and provide day-to-day technical support production backup systems. ? Setup and configure the CommVault backup Tool for all the VM?s. ? Management of the Master server and the Media server ? Experience on resolving the Auxiliary copy and data ageing backup job operations. ? Experience on VMWare and Agent level backup troubleshooting skills. ? Experience on configuring backup type, Exchange, NDMP, SQL, Unix, and Windows ? Define and implement backup and retention policies to ensure data is protected. ? Monitoring backup jobs, ensuring successful completion of the backup jobs. ? Troubleshoot the issues related to backup and restore. ? Optimize backup and recovery performance. ? Maintain the security measures to protect backup data from unauthorized access, ensuring compliance. ? Working with different teams such as network, OS, and application to ensure the integration and operation of the environment. ? Regularly conduct backup and recovery tests to verify the integrity of data backup and the recovery process
