At our Cambridge Facility, we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense, and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly department, and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.

Job Summary

As a Assembler the incumbent is responsible for providing support in various departments. They are responsible for ensuring accuracy when completing tasks to ensure production lead time initiatives are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities

Washer - use steam gun and air hose to wash metal cab parts hanging on wheeled racks. Parts are used for subassembly of cabs.

• Turns machines on, tests solutions (may add water or soap) and logs into computer
• Receives and pulls wheeled racks 10’-20’ to wash station
• Uses steam gun to clean the parts as they hang from the racks
• Pushes racks ~ 20’ to ovens and place in ovens for drying (some racks don’t need to be baked and take them directly to paint areas)
• Repeats wash process with another rack while 1st rack parts are drying

Grinder - use a variety of hand tools to grind, buff and clean the surface of steel cabs and cab subcomponents (guards, front end grills) for equipment used in the forestry and mining industry.
