ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER Our client, a leader in fluid handling systems, is actively looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials. - Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, clips, or other fasteners. - Install wiring and electrical components to specifications - Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. - Verify and troubleshoot control systems' circuits. - Utilize hand tools, hand crimps, wire cutters and wire strippers - Assist Applications Engineer in selecting parts for control system, testing products during assembly and final stage of production and in updating shop folder with assembly and test data. - Ability to keep performance standards at a high level. - Use various hand tools and measuring equipment such as drills, taps, files, calipers and micrometers during the assembly process. - Perform preliminary and / or final packaging of components and final products. - Maintains, organizes and cleans work area compliant with 5S Standards. - Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as required. Experience/Education Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly / testing of electro-mechanical equipment. - Electrical / Mechanical Machine Build experience - Experience with equipment wiring - Ability to read schematics and blueprints required - Prior experience in a " technician" role - Troubleshooting - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to multi-task - Ability to navigate windows-based pc - Fluent in English, French is an asset. - Great computer skills. - Organizational skills.
