Senior Patient Support Program Manager

Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Patient Support Program Manager to join their team.

The Sr. PSP Manager will lead the strategic development, execution, and management of comprehensive patient assistance programs for current and future products.

The incumbent will report to the Head of Market Access & Government Relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, execution, and management of PSPs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Work proactively to ensure programs meet customer needs and deliver high-quality services for patients and physicians.
  • Capture Real World Evidence (RWE) to support marketing and reimbursement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, acting as the primary accountable manager for PSPs.
  • Oversee and manage PSP vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and managing budgets.
  • Track program KPIs and provide strategic recommendations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead the transition of patients from PSPs to private or public insurers to ensure smooth reimbursement processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams to implement and improve programs.
  • Drive program insights and development of actionable recommendations based on feedback.
  • Innovate and adapt PSPs in response to changes in the healthcare landscape.
  • Lead the development of new programs and selecting vendors for upcoming products.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in business or sciences.
  • 5-10 years of experience in patient assistance / support programs.
  • Strong knowledge of medical and commercial operations within the Pharmaceutical industry, including payer systems.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in compliance and regulatory environments.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strategic insight.
  • Demonstrated high success in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
