What you’ll do :

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the direction and leadership of the Marketing and Member Relations team, ensuring marketing, member relations and communications objectives are realized.

You will accomplish this by :

  • Developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans to promote the cooperative's products and services effectively.
  • Overseeing talent acquisition, engagement, performance management and succession planning for the marketing team.
  • Creating compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, website, and print materials.
  • Conducting market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive members relations plans to promote our co-operative mission, vision, values and aspirations.

To inform and communicate what we stand for and how we Make a Difference

  • Managing member communications, including newsletters, surveys, and member events.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective members to drive retention and loyalty.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing and member relations initiatives through KPIs and analytics.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to inform marketing strategies.
  • Maintaining Four Rivers Co-op’s high standards for customer service and ensuring a consistent brand aligned customer experience.
  • Promoting the Four Rivers Co-op Health and Safety Program.

What you bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in a membership-based organization.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of 1-3 employees.
  • You hold a valid class 5 or better driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products and ability to learn specialized software quickly.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

The starting pay range for this position is $65,120 - $81,400 per year. Starting pay of applicants will be based off knowledge, skills, and experience.
