Job description

Role Overview

As a Technical Consultant, you'll act as both a solution architect and delivery engineer for enterprise customers adopting the Forge platform. This role combines technical consulting, solution design, and hands-on delivery to help customers achieve secure, automated, and AI-enhanced cloud environments.

You'll collaborate with customers to design tailored architectures, define integration blueprints, and guide adoption of AI-native DevOps workflows. You'll then bring those designs to life through cloud provisioning, automation, and integration work—bridging the gap between vision and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Solution & Architecture Consulting

  • Engage with enterprise customers to understand business drivers and technical goals; translate them into scalable DevOps and AI-native architectures.
  • Lead discovery sessions and architectural design workshops to develop cloud solution roadmaps aligned with customer objectives.
  • Design DevOps toolchain integrations, AI-assisted workflows, and automation.

Cloud Engineering & Implementation

  • Provision secure, compliant landing zones in AWS/Azure, integrating identity, observability, and network baselines.
  • Implement automation using Terraform, GitOps, and pipeline-based delivery models.
  • Deploy and configure Coder CDEs, SonarQube, GitLab, Atlassian, and JFrog toolchain components.

AI-Native Workflow Enablement

  • Integrate AI-assisted Dev tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and agentic AI frameworks (e.g., AWS Bedrock AgentCore, LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, n8n).
  • Collaborate with clients to define and operationalize AI-augmented DevOps workflows that improve automation and efficiency.

Customer Success & Delivery Excellence

  • Partner with Professional Services teams on Activation Packs and bespoke implementations for strategic clients.
  • Oversee testing, deployment readiness, and transition to managed operations.
  • Influence client outcomes through proactive recommendations and architecture optimization.
  • Provide L3 escalation support to Platform Operation and Support team.

Innovation, Mentorship & Collaboration

  • Mentor peers and junior engineers on best practices in AI-first DevOps and solution design.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to evolve the Forge platform based on client insights.
  • Contribute to practice development by refining methodologies, playbooks, and reusable architectures.

Qualifications & Must-Haves

  • 5+ years in cloud, DevOps, or solution engineering, with consulting and delivery experience.
  • Strong enterprise experience across AWS/Azure and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, GitOps).
  • Hands-on implementation expertise with leading DevOps tools (GitHub, Atlassian, JFrog, SonarQube).
  • Comfortable writing and maintaining automation scripts and tooling in languages such as Python, TypeScript, or Go to support DevOps and AI-native workflows.
  • Capable of reading and reviewing application code to troubleshoot integration issues, improve observability, and recommend DevOps best practices.
  • Familiar with modern development practices (Git-based workflows, code review, branching strategies, testing approaches) and able to coach teams on applying them in a DevOps and AI-native context
  • Familiarity with AI-native and agentic automation frameworks (AWS Bedrock AgentCore, LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI).
  • Proven ability to engage directly with clients, lead technical workshops, and translate business needs into technical outcomes.
  • Confident communicator with strong documentation and presentation skills.
  • Professional or Expert level Cloud certified
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated industries (FSI, Healthcare, Software & Technology).
  • Success in designing or operating single-tenant or air-gapped customer environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in AI-assisted Dev tools and workflow automation practices.
