Criminology Instructor
Term
August 20, 2026 – December 21, 2026
Duties: This is a 100% courseload, term position responsible for teaching courses in the Criminal and Social Justice program at College of the Rockies. The courses will be in face-to-face, online, and blended deliveries and include: Introduction to Criminology (CRIM 101); Introduction to Canadian Law (CRIM 135), and Introduction to Social Science Research Methods (SOCI 210). Successful candidate must be available to teach on campus for this position.
Qualifications:
Required:
- A Master's Degree in Criminology or a closely related discipline
- Experience teaching in an adult learning environment and a variety of modalities
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Preferred:
- Credentials for and experience in online teaching
- Two+ years teaching at a post-secondary institution
- Provincial Instructors Diploma Program or equivalent

Salary: As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for Term, full-time employees is in a range from $81,706.92 to $130,931.52 (this includes 16% in lieu of vacation).
