The Compact Construction Equipment Territory Manager is responsible for selling new and used compact construction equipment within an assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). This role focuses on developing business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving sales goals to grow revenue and market share.

Who We Are

Brandt is a customer driven company, privately owned and family run, strengthened by diversification and succeeding through specialization. We operate over 170 locations across Canada, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand.

For nine decades, the people of Brandt have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the hardworking people that we serve. And really, there’s no place we’d rather be because just like them, it’s when we’re working hard and getting things done that we’re at our best.

Our success is driven by a passionate belief in the unlimited potential of our company and the ultimate success of our customers and we act on that belief every single day.

That’s Powerful Value, Delivered.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to maximize revenue and expand market share within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and responding to market trends to achieve growth targets.
  • Promote Brandt’s compact construction equipment line to existing and potential customers to strengthen brand presence and increase sales.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and terms to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure retention, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Finance departments to provide integrated solutions that meet customer needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor customer operations and changing requirements to anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate customer status reports, including call activity, prospect lists, and opportunity tracking submitted weekly, to support informed sales strategies.
  • Coordinate equipment check-ins, upfitting, and delivery schedules with Sales Coordinators to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Complete all sales documentation, travel plans, and expense reports promptly to maintain operational accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate actively in weekly sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed on products, market trends, and company initiatives.

What We Look For

  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Strong knowledge of compact construction equipment, including skid steers, track loaders, mini excavators, and wheel loaders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation: we offer fair, market-based wages that recognize your skills, experience, and contributions.
  • Continuous Learning: through on-the-job training and educational opportunities.
  • Opportunities for advancement within a growing company that values initiative and teamwork.
  • Comprehensive benefits coverage: including health, dental and more to support your wellbeing.
  • Retirement savings programs: Pension and RRSP programs to help you invest in your future.

When you work for Brandt, we work for you. It’s as simple as that.
