Assurant Device Care (DCC) - Mississauga

Is looking for an on-site Material Processor Lead

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Processor Lead will work directly with the DCC’s Leadership team assisting with production floor support and adhering to safety standards while also guiding and training team members to ensure production quotas and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility.

Duties and responsibilities of Material Processor Lead

• Working knowledge of shop floor systems (Oracle)
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisors
• Participate in internal and external customer or vendor meetings
• Work with Supervisor to reallocate resources (people / supplies / products etc.) as needed to meet customer goals
• Work with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achieved.
• Point of contact for employees for handling escalation issues
• Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide effective / implemented solutions
• Ability to collaborate with other departments with their area of responsibility.
• Participate with team on monthly audits.
• Work with supervisors to implement any changes or adjustments on production floor.
• Monitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for all customers and programs.
• Monitor KPI and SLA performance levels and escalate any issues / concerns to supervisors when needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
• Compile and analyze data.
• Complete daily reports and production scheduling.
• Train and coach associates as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Pay Range :

$44,100.00 - $72,900.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
