The Team
Our Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice is comprised of over 600 sector experts and specialized consultants across the Globe. We combine strategic and operational expertise with a deep technical knowledge to support developers, sponsors, lenders, and projects leader to select, structure, improve and execute Capital Projects in a more efficient and sustainable way.
The Package Engineer is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of a specific equipment or material package within a project. The incumbent ensures coordination between various disciplines and stakeholders to meet project requirements for scope, schedule, and cost. This role involves managing vendor deliverables, technical specifications, and procurement activities to ensure successful package execution.
While this role is tied administratively to our Oakville, ON office, the position itself will be based on-site at the project location in the southwestern area of the Athabasca Basin, in Northern Saskatchewan on a rotating basis.
How you will contribute
Develop and manage the package scope, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution.
Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, requisitions, and data sheets.
Conduct technical bid evaluations and coordinate stakeholder reviews.
Manage vendor deliverables, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Facilitate inter-discipline coordination to integrate package requirements across all relevant teams.
Review and approve vendor data, ensuring timely resolution of technical queries.
Ensure adherence to the project schedule by tracking procurement and fabrication milestones.
Support construction and commissioning teams by providing technical assistance during installation.
Monitor and report on package status, risks, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in package engineering within industrial or construction projects.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and technical coordination.
Familiarity with industry standards, material specifications, and equipment integration.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

The salary range is $104,100 - $126,000 CAD annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
