Description
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hybrid and electrified systems installed on heavy-duty vehicles (hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and software components); - Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems in the field; - Support vehicle commissioning, system validation, and upgrades on customer fleets; - Act as a primary technical interface with customer maintenance teams and supervisors; - Collect and analyze field data, logs, and failure reports to support root cause analysis; - Collaborate with engineering, product, and after-sales teams to deploy fixes, updates, and design improvements; - Contribute to the continuous improvement of service procedures, diagnostic methods, and tools; - Provide on-site training and technical guidance to customer maintenance personnel; - Document field interventions, findings, and recommendations clearly and accurately; - Support pilot programs, new product introductions, and field trials as required; - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards; - Perform any other related tasks required to support fleet performance and customer satisfaction; - Facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure the reuse of information and documentation; - Participate in resolving system issues and deploying solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams; - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department's practices, processes, and tools; - Perform any other related tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVES: - Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering - Experience as a field technician, field engineer, or service technician in heavy-duty vehicles, automotive, or industrial equipment; - Strong experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex systems; - Hands-on experience with electrical systems, sensors, CAN bus, and control systems - Comfortable working directly at customer sites in an operational fleet environment; - Flexibility to work variable schedules, including afternoon or evening hours, based on vehicle availability; - Ontario Driver's Lisence NICE TO HAVES: - Experience with hybrid or electric systems - Experience with PLC
