We are partnering with a premier global manufacturer of specialized thermal processing and industrial equipment to find a dedicated Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager in Burlington. If you excel at leading customer care operations, managing complex industrial accounts, and driving business growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As a global leader in talent solutions, we connect outstanding professionals with top employers. Our recruiters are experts in their fields, dedicated to understanding your career goals and matching you with organizations where you can truly make an impact.

This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to lead key sales and customer care functions on behalf of our esteemed client in the furnace manufacturing and industrial equipment sector. The role of the Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager is central to our client's growth and customer care strategy in Burlington. In this collaborative leadership position, you will be responsible for leading inside sales and customer service operations, overseeing quotations and order management, and managing the complete sales process from initial inquiry through project completion. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments including Production, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and on-time project execution. As an Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager, you will leverage your expertise to foster relationships with existing customers, identify organic growth opportunities, and provide support to cross-functional teams across both Canadian and U.S. facilities. Working within a supportive environment in Burlington, you will manage technical quotations, support aftermarket business, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Advantages
• Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 based on experience.
• Full-time, permanent position with a steady Monday to Friday work schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
• Comprehensive health benefits package including medical, dental, extended health, and vision care.
• Company-provided life insurance coverage.
• RRSP matching program to support your long-term financial goals.
• Paid time off supporting work-life balance.
• Corporate Presto Card Program and mileage/business travel reimbursement.
• Convenient on-site parking at the Burlington facility.
• Strong career progression opportunities and supportive management culture focused on continuous development.

Responsibilities
• Lead inside sales and customer service functions to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and support division business objectives.
• Maintain and foster strong relationships with existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
• Oversee incoming customer inquiries, quotation preparation, sales orders, spare parts orders, and order delivery tracking.
• Prepare and approve detailed quotations, technical specifications, and proposals for furnace systems, spare parts, and service work in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Manage the sales workflow from inquiry through contract award, production coordination, and final sign-off.
• Provide sales and customer service support to U.S. operations and collaborate with cross-functional Canadian and U.S. teams.
• Participate actively in daily and weekly production meetings to align Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service priorities.
• Coordinate aftermarket service activities, forecast sales opportunities, and source external equipment or components when required.
• Support independent sales representatives, develop promotional sales materials, and attend customer visits or trade shows as needed.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial inside sales, customer service, or sales management.
• Direct experience supervising or leading customer service or inside sales personnel is strongly preferred.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in industrial furnace manufacturing, capital equipment, thermal processing, or industrial parts distribution is considered a strong asset.
• Technical understanding of industrial equipment and the ability to interpret technical specifications or engineering documentation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong negotiation, communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness and availability for periodic travel within Canada and to the United States for customer visits, supplier meetings, and trade shows.
• May require Controlled Goods Program registration and/or Security Clearance.
