This is a one-year contract opportunity with the potential for extension or conversion, focused on leading mid-to-high complexity training initiatives. This hybrid role requires you to work in the financial district 4 days/ week.

In this role, you will act as a critical link between business priorities and educational implementation, ensuring that large-scale learning solutions are delivered with precision. Given the high-priority nature of this project, we encourage interested talent to apply promptly by submitting their resume and any relevant project portfolios or work samples.

Advantages
Collaborative Environment: Join a dynamic team of 20+ professionals in a supportive and high-energy culture.
Long-Term Potential: A stable 12-month initial contract with possibilities for extension or permanent conversion.
Professional Growth: Manage sophisticated, high-impact L&D projects within a Top-Tier financial organization.
Competitive Compensation: Market-leading bill rates for qualified project leadership.

Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of medium-to-high complexity L&D projects, ensuring delivery remains on time, within scope, and on budget.
L&D Implementation: Drive processes to implement diverse learning solutions, including virtual/in-person instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, and self-directed learner pathways.
Stakeholder Management: Develop and implement engagement strategies for both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining regular communication and reporting progress at various leadership levels.
Risk & Governance: Maintain tight governance control, actively managing and resolving risks and issues while conducting project retrospectives for continuous improvement.
Vendor Management: Support the selection, engagement, and onboarding of third-party vendors when external learning solutions are required.
Strategic Alignment: Align individual project movements with broader business priorities and long-term delivery strategies.

Qualifications
Experience: 5–7 years of professional experience in Project Management, specifically focused on Learning & Development or HR-related initiatives.
Industry Knowledge: Proven experience working within the Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services sectors is required.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Project and the MS Office Suite.
Methodologies: Solid experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and hybrid project practices.
Education & Certification: Post-secondary education is required. A PMP certification and Agile certifications are highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse business partners.

Summary
As a Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the training solutions that shape the future of the workforce. If you are a proactive leader with a background in financial services L&D and a knack for navigating complex project landscapes, we want to hear from you. This role requires a hybrid presence (4 days in-office) at our client’s Toronto downtown location.
